Lead the team in the development of the first privatisation proposal on My KLIA Network and successfully obtained the approval of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad for the implementation of this concept at KLIA and KLIA2. Provide advice on technical, management and strategic planning towards achieving company‘s short term and long term objectives. Maintain effective collaboration and good relationship with MAHB in ensuring that both parties benefit from this initiative as planned.

2005 to 2011:
CEO of Malaysia Airports Niaga (better known as ERAMAN) During his tenure as CEO of ERAMAN, he successfully managed to increase the revenue generated from its 40 Duty Free and Non Duty Free outlets at KLIA, LCCT, KKIA, KIA, PIA and Labuan Airport from RM 180 million to RM 530 million per annum.

Apyan Hj. Idris started his career in telecommunication with JKR in 1994. He gained the invaluable experience from hard labor to supervisory level and progressively to the management level. His past experience includes executing project for Celcom, Time Telecommunication, Binariang, Mutiara and Telekom.

He played an important part in executing one of the earlier common trenching projects by Celcom, Time Telekom and Binariang. Later, in 1995, he joined Energy Greathouse Sdn. Bhd, a project management
consultant company as Project Manager responsible for handling projects by Celcom, Time, Binariang, and Mutiara.

His capabilities and performance has gained recognition from friends and envied by foes. Combined with a pleasant personality, he is among the best in this field.
